Steve Murphy spent his formative years in Sydney's Redfern. Abandoned by his mother when only weeks old, his father left him in the care of a cruel, alcoholic stepmother while he himself was in jail.

 

Unbelievably the child they dubbed The Pyjama Boy fought his way through life to achieve his ultimate goal.
